JD Adelman is a 2026 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Christian Brothers College. Physical athletic build with good present strength. 8.14 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good footwork around the bag, caught the ball cleanly, plenty of arm strength for the position, made accurate throws. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a late rushed leg pull back load, tends to get off balance and mis-timed into his swing, downhill swing path. Took a turn on the mound, has a big hip turn to drive his delivery and a mid 3/4's arm slot with some cross fire action to the plate. Fastball worked up to 78 mph with some cutting action glove side, adds and subtracts on his fastball and throws strikes with the pitch. Slider flashed some spin and shape and could be used more, also flashed a slow curveball. Graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
