Mike Wright is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Seymour, IN who attends Seymour. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Full hands over head delivery, full arm takeaway in back, tends to rush through his gather over the rubber, early foot strike and upper body turn, arm gets left behind frequently. Fastball worked up to 84 mph, locates mostly arm side with lots of running life that gets off barrels. Also throws a short slider as his primary secondary pitch. 6.96 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a hanging leg raise trigger, foot tends to be late getting down, pulls off his front side hard, looking to pull the ball. Good athlete who will continue to improve as he improves his fundamentals and sequencing on both sides of the ball. Very good student.
