David Noriega is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Clarksville, TN who attends West Creek. Primary right hander pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch off the first base side of the rubber. Quick, belt high leg lift with a slight torso tilt at the top. Inline path, leads with elbow to top of the arm circle with a very high OTT slot. Downhill plane on his mix, got fastball up to 76-mph and peppered the arm side with comfort for lots of strikes. Flashed good control and even some command of the offering to both sides when asked. Developing feel on the slider, shows solid traits when spun right with conviction and arm speed. Showed some promise out there with some pitchability present. Right handed batter, even stance with a double toe tape stride. High back elbow and hands by chest, rotational swing mechanics. Will improve results with more extension out front to let the strength play.
