Matt Pilger is a 2023 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Wellington, FL who attends Palm Beach Central. Extra Large frame with a wiry build showing room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 7.06 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, quick first step as he works into the baseball with urgency. Clean gather out front before transferring. Short release from an over the top slot. Accurate to the bag as he threw it 77 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, turned in front shoulder to start with a wider base. Strides out as the hands stay high. Lands balanced before working into a longer path. Looks to lift the baseball when possible. Relies heavily on the upper half to generate bat speed. Young actions in the box. Outstanding Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
