2021 Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Dylan McKenna is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Central Islip, NY who attends Islip. As a primary RHP, McKenna worked from a young projectable build with additional room to add strength and develop. He ran his FB up to 78 mph out of an over the top arm slot, consistently pounding the zone with arm side run into the hands of righties. McKenna flashed an 11-5 curve with good shape and some late life to keep hitters off balance in the box. He also showcased the OF skills, attacking the ball aggressively with smooth transitions and accurate throws. McKenna works with a full arm action both on the mound and in the OF. Offensively, he started from an open stance with a hover trigger and consistent line drive contact. Ran a 7.41 60 yard dash. Named to the 2021 Summer Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
