Cameron Hawley is a 2023 2B/SS with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Cortlandt Manor, NY who attends Walter Panas. Compact, athletic build well-proportioned strength throughout his frame. Recorded a 3.82-second thirty time. Primary middle-infielder, deep fielding funnel, playing through the ball well with methodical footwork. Smooth glove actions with strong feel for the position as he projects to stick up-the-middle. Moved well laterally, showcasing range going to his backhand and forehand. Accurate throws across the diamond, up to 77 mph with more arm strength remaining. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance, crouched at he knees, with a high-hand set. Present quickness to his hands with an elevated stroke as he displayed gap-to-gap juice. Strong feel for the barrel with line-drive tendencies through the middle-of-the-field. Stays in his legs well, producing plenty of bat speed. Excellent student. Named to New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
