Jaylun Camper is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 6-2 168 lb. frame from Hazel Crest, IL who attends Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep. Large frame with long, lean build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.49 seconds. Hits from spread out, even-based stance with heavy land on front side, downhill launch, slashing path geared middle-oppo, worked that way in game with success. Worked out in the infield, quickness to footwork, good lateral ability, hands work well, clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Also pitched, spine tilt back, compact arm stroke, fastball worked 74-79 mph, showed slider as well. Very good student.
