Sebastian Olaniel is a 2025 C/2B/3B with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Belen Jesuit Prep. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to develop throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate, gets the ball out of glove quickly with a short take back through the backside, repeats actions and showed one hop accuracy down to second base, arm strength and carry will continue to develop. Medium length to the arm action in the back, works through the backhand well and makes the plays, consistent accuracy on throws with some carry, will continue to refine. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread and open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; lowers hands at start of swing, tends to get uphill with path through the zone looking to lift. Best contact when working on a linear path with some line drive carry coming off, contact oriented approach to all fields. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
