2021 Fall Northern California Showcase
Evan Tavarez is a 2025 OF/SS with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Features a smaller frame with athleticism. Ran a 7.94 60-yard. Flashed intriguing defensive traits throughout outfield and infield drills. Charged the ball well in the outfield. Caught the ball out front. Flashed solid arm strength for build on throws to the plate. Features a long, clean arm action. Caught the ball cleanly on the dirt too. Worked best going to the glove side. Arm strength played across the diamond. Utilizes a simple, direct swing in the box. Approach stays up the middle frequently. Produces plenty of line drives. Adding more strength to the frame would allow for balls to hit with more authority. Very good student, as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
