Jack Riva is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Fair Haven, NJ who attends Rumson Fair Haven. Working exclusively from his primary OF spot, Riva displayed broad strength in the build with lots of effort behind his throws up to 79 mph. He fielded the ball out in front with some quickness to the transfers, using a compact arm action into release. Expect footwork to continue to refine. Offensively, Riva started from a balanced stance with quiet hands that flashed loud impact through the zone. He successfully created solid extension after contact, posting an exit velocity of 89 mph. Power potential is evident and will only continue to increase. Ran a 5.24 forty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
