Justin Camel is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Palos Verdes Estates, CA who attends Palos Verdes. Smaller athletic build. Versatile two-way talent with a blend of speed/arm strength from the outfield to go with fundamental footwork to the baseball, clean glove actions working through the ball and accurate throws to bases. Showed fundamental footwork to the baseball in the infield with some rhythm to the hands fielding and working through the baseball. Quick release with a solid average throwing arm across the diamond. Showed ability to make all the plays in the middle infield. Hit from a slightly open stance with leg lift timing, quick compact swings through the zone with some bat speed and a level bat path. Consistently got to the barrel hitting the ball on a line to all fields. Three pitch-mix on the mound out of changing arm slots on the mound. Up to 83 with the fastball with arm side sink, a slider in the upper 60's and a change-up in the mid 70's with some fading action. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
