Timothy Hootselle is a 2025 C/UT with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Stafford, VA who attends Mountain View. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.37 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low and has good lower half flexibility, good direction and footwork on his throws, has some arm strength and makes on line and accurate throws, well schooled fundamentals that he executes well. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a small leg lift load, gets into his hips well and stays balanced and directional, all fields approach with good barrel control, high contact approach with the ability to drive the ball to come with additional strength.
