Justin Lavine is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Surprise, AZ who attends Liberty. Nice athletic build with plenty of projection remaining. Has a compact delivery with a leg raise and tuck and hands close to the body, tight 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked in the low 80's with good running action, velocity played up a bit due to deception in his delivery. Change up was his best pitch and was thrown frequently, very good arm speed with the same run and sink as his fastball. Slider was his third pitch with some twisting action on release and a short break. Threw strikes and was effective, hitters didn't recognize the change up even when throw often. Worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and closed stance, locks up his lower half, upper body swing. Good student.
