2023 13U/14U Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Evan Lessler is a 2028 SS/RHP/UT with a 5-2 100 lb. frame from Ellicott City, MD who attends Howard. Lessler works from a young build with lots of room to add strength and physically develop in the future as a '28 prospect. Starting as a primary IF, he displayed controlled movements with flashes of range up the middle. Glove is currently best tool with arm strength becoming more prominent in the future. Topped out at 58 mph across the diamond. From the OF, Lessler got behind the ball well and put himself in positions to throw, touching 59 mph. Offensively, the switch hitter showcased a narrow base from the left side with intent to create impact to all parts of the field. From the right side the stroke was a bit more natural and fluid with line drive contact back up the middle. Ran a 9.45 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
