2022 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Elliott Nederhood is a 2023 RHP/SS with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Detroit, MI who attends University Of Detroit Jesuit. Athletic build with some present strength in his lower half and plenty of physical projection moving forward. Short side step delivery, gets very good extension down the mound, arm is loose and easy out front. Fastball topped out 81 mph with some cutting action when down in the zone, still developing feel and consistency with his breaking ball. Two-way athlete who graded out better as a position player at this event. 7.12 runner in the sixty. Moves well to both sides in the middle infield on defense, fields the ball cleanly out front. Left handed hitter, has a big back load with a big stride into contact, can shorten his approach and especially his stride, busy approach, creates bat speed and flashed some pull side power, has hitting tools to develop with adjustments. Outstanding student

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
