Boston Baro is a 2023 SS/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA who attends Capistrano Valley. Slender athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.71 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder with clean fundamentals through the ball, funnels the ball well and has sound footwork and balance, some arm strength and makes accurate throws from a good base. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance and a high back elbow start, has a smooth swing with some extension and lift to it, mid field to pull side contact, has some power in there with more to come as he gets stronger. Projects in all areas. Very good student, verbal commitment to UCLA.
