2022 Great Lakes Prospect Showcase
Colin Ryder is a 2024 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-6 210 lb. frame from South Elgin, IL who attends St. Charles North. Extra tall build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, coils his hips well with a leg raise trigger, deep hand load, swings hard and has strength and lift at contact, big raw power, can develop more rhythm in his swing, has the tools to really develop as a hitter and has the right approach for his build. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Showed his athleticism well at first base on defense, has some agility and soft hands at the ball as well, good arm strength for the position, obviously a big target. Probably a good enough athlete to play some corner outfield, too. Outstanding student. Named to the Great Lakes Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
