Alexander Ochranek is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends THESA. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits up in a narrow open stance with a short and well controlled line drive swing, consistent timer and load, made hard and consistent game contact while working mostly pull side to mid field, has a feel for the barrel. 8.13 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up spread behind the plate, exchange and release are short and compact, has some lower half athleticism that also showed well in the middle infield, arm works well with some young carry. Took at turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a catcher's compact arm action, lands open with his front side. Fastball sat in the mid-60's and topped out at 67, had some shape to his soft curveball and threw strikes with both pitches. Named to the Top Prospect List. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
