2022 Spring Midwest Workout Showcase (April 16)
Ryan Denowh is a 2024 C/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Billings, MT who attends Skyview. Recorded a 7.77 second sixty yard dash time. Long and lanky build with room to fill, good physical projection. Primary catcher with an athletic look, utilizes a high and side straddle stance, stays in line well and gains some ground towards second base. Transfers at the chest, shows a compact arm action and release, can stay lower throughout the operation. Right-handed hitter with a closed base and a crouched stance, has a deep hand set and utilizes a small leg lift trigger. Shows some loft to the path and good balance in the swing, easy swing overall and gets extended. At his best when staying with a line drive approach, hit some balls hard into the opposite field gap, will continue to improve moving forward. Excellent student.
