Jerrell Alston is a 2026 OF/RHP/SS with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Hilo, HI. Slender young athletic build. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall stance with a long stride into contact, has a short hands driven swing with a direct path to the ball, mid field to opposite field line drive swing, has an accurate barrel and times his swing well, projects well as a hitter. 8.25 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder but looked solid in the middle infield as well, where he had sound fundamental actions and made accurate game throws, good athlete who should develop at both positions as he gets stronger. Took a turn on the mound, has a simple turn and throw delivery with a compact arm action and a mid 3/4's arm slot. Got some running action on a mid-60's fastball, filled up the zone with fastball strikes, still developing curveball feel.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
