2022 Florida Prospect Showcase
Yordan Rosendo is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-7 131 lb. frame from Clearwater, FL who attends Palm Harbor University. Lean build with a bigger lower half and longer levers. Worked out as an outfielder, making throws on target with accuracy on one-hops to the bag. Works with fluid actions to the ball and active feet to make the throws. Worked out at first base, had active feet with a good pop off the bag, showing off some athleticism, and clean glovework. Left-handed hitter who starts with the hands set high and the back elbow up. Has a big stride that he used to get the barrel through the zone, looking to lift the ball throughout his round of BP. Left-handed pitcher who works from a high-three-quarters arm slot, getting significant trunk tilt as he moved down the mound, getting that higher slot. Shorter arm action. His fastball had cut to it. Showed a breaking ball with 1-7 break to it, and was a pitch he tried to backfoot against right-handed hitters. Killed spin on a changeup that he threw occasionally. Mixed his pitches early in the outing.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
