Kayne Tagliavia is a 2027 C/2B with a 4-9 127 lb. frame from Elk Grove Village, IL who attends Elk Grove. He has a small frame and a thicker build with plenty of physical maturity in front of him. Ran the sixty yard dash in 9.77 seconds. Primary catcher that starts in a side saddle stance. He stands when he throws, so staying low throughout the process and covering ground towards second will help him to shave time off his pop time. He will also be able to throw more runners out by anticipating his throws more. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even stance that is slightly open with a high back elbow. He uses a simple stride for timing. He has quick hands for his age and will continue to add power as he develops and becomes stronger. He has line drive approach and looks to pull the ball, making contact out in front of the plate. He has a longer swing with a high, one handed follow through. He repeats his swing well and shows comfort at the plate.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
