Colin Gallagher is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, SC who attends Oceanside Collegiate. Recorded a 7.92 sixty yard dash at the event. Medium athletic frame with present strength. Primary right-handed pitcher. Full windup that stays balanced well and works downhill. Mechanically sound but would benefit from speeding up the process and generating more momentum down the mound. Fastball topped at 78 mph with mostly straight action. Flashed good off-speed that will compete in the zone and get swings-and-misses. Secondary outfielder. Choppy footwork that works through the ball. Sits back and lets ball come to him a bit. Solid arm strength with some accuracy at 81 mph. Secondary infielder. Length in the lower half when fielding. Inconsistent infield actions with a stiff glove when fielding. Inaccurate throws across the infield. Right-handed hitter. Some barrel strength here. Looks to get lift on the ball with natural uphill bat path. Loose and repeatable swing that has some projectability in his hit tools.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
