Marvin Montenegro is a 2025 3B/C with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Santa Fe Catholic. Solid athletic build with good strength for his age. 6.92 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder who has quick feet on defense, aggressive to the ball with good routes to the ball, has lateral quickness, compact arm stroke with good accuracy on his throws. Also caught, showed the same kind of nice lower half athleticism, gets low and flexible and moves into his throws well, quick and compact arm action, could develop either in the infield or behind the plate. Right handed hitter, has a lift and replace load with a short and direct swing, limited lower half drive into his swing at present, swings hard and has some young bat speed, best contact was pulling the ball. Good young athlete who will continue to improve in all areas. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
