Lucas Acerenza is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Frederick, MD who attends Frederick. Recorded a 7.61-second sixty time. Young, athletic frame with strength remaining to be added throughout his build. Primary catcher, even set up with quickness to his footwork as he switches his feet. Short arm action with a mid-line transfer, recorded a best pop time of 2.35-seconds. Developing arm strength with throws up to 58 mph. Secondary outfielder, fields off to the side, playing through the ball well. Remains on line to his target, up to 69 mph from the outfield, could get on top of his throws more for better accuracy. Right-handed hitter, even stance with a high-hand set. Worked middle-to-opposite field during his round while flashing some line-drive impact. Advanced plate coverage, getting the barrel out to the point of contact.
