Nicholas Simpson is a 2023 OF/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Fredericksburg, VA who attends Stafford Sr. Recorded a 7.62 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder fields the baseball deep into a charging stride through the baseball with a clean transition throwing fairly accurate at 74 mph to the bases. Secondary right-handed pitcher shows a long, high three-quarter arm slot as he opens his front side throwing to the plate while developing the release point of his fastball topping 72 mph that has slight cutting action. Simpson also mixes in a curveball with a developing release point down in the zone. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a balanced and in line stance as he shifts the weight over the backside working the ball with the middle approach using a lofted swing in which he is developing backspin on the ball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
