Jesús Gómez is a 2024 OF/SS with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Downey, CA who attends Don Bosco Technical Institute. Features a medium build with some strength present. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield and on the infield. Displays sound footwork during patient approach in the outfield. Can create momentum into throws when in-sync. Was accurate with most throws. Reached 71 mph during workouts. Can make the routine play on the infield. Range profiles best for a corner spot long term. Still developing consistent glove actions. More arm strength should come down the line. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a narrow base stance with a low hand setup. Swings on an uphill path. Simple approach consistently works through the middle of the field. Looks to drive the ball in the air. Can produce solid contact when the barrel is found. More power will come as consistent barrel accuracy is refined. Good student.
