Dylan Wells is a 2026 C with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Weaverville, NC who attends North Buncombe. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits with a turned in front foot and lower half, strides open, rotational swing that leaves him on his back side, has some strength in his hands when he gets the barrel through out front, will have the strength to improve with adjustments as he matures physically. 7.41 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has a compact arm action and some clean fundamentals on his exchange and release, made adjustments from pitch to pitch and throw to throw and has good awareness behind the plate, will have the lower half athleticism to continue to improve. Also worked out in the outfield. Very good student.
