PHOENIX, Ariz. -- The DICK'S Sporting Goods Perfect Game All-American Classic will take place this Sunday, August 28 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. First pitch is set for 5:00 PM local time, 8:00 PM ET.
The game, in its 20th annual year, will be broadcasted live on ESPNU, with Daron Sutton, David Rawnsley, Hunter Pence, and Dani Wexelman on the call. Admission to the game will be free and fans can enter through the main gate on the day of the game.
The Perfect Game All-American Classic offers a glimpse into the future talent of Major League Baseball. In this year's MLB Draft, 20 Perfect Game All-Americans were drafted in the first round, including each of the top-five selections: Jackson Holliday (No. 1, Baltimore), Andruw Jones (No. 2, Arizona), Kumar Rocker (No. 3, Texas), Termarr Johnson (No. 4, Pittsburgh), and Elijah Green (No. 5, Washington). In total, there have been 261 PG All-Americans who have been drafted in the first round, and 255 alums of the Classic have made their MLB debut.
California leads the field of this year’s competition featuring the best-of-the-best high school aged baseball players, with 15 players. Florida was close behind with 12 selections, while baseball hotbeds, Georgia and Texas, will be represented by six and five players, respectively. In all, 21 states will be represented at this year’s All-American Classic.

Perfect Game Cares Foundation
The Perfect Game Cares Foundation held a free kids camp at Chase Field on Thursday for 500 local Phoenix-area kids. Each participant at the camp received a new glove from Rawlings and instruction from several former MLB players like Clint Hurdle, Tom Gordon, Charles Johnson, Sean Berry, Ben Ford, Reggie Sanders, and Dmitri Young.
As part of the Perfect Game All-American Classic festivities, each player selected for the Classic helps to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Perfect Game Cares Grow The Game Fund. This year's roster has already raised more than $100,000 dollars, with California's
Gabe Gaeckle leading the charge with over $10,000 raised.
