A tall, lean righthander with an electric fastball, Nikorak has reached as high as 97 mph with his fastball during his breakout summer. He’s also shown the sharp, downward biting curveball in the low-80s to go with that power fastball. Nikorak’s ideal, lean pitcher’s build lead scouts to believe he could continue to add velocity and improve his command. He’s a superior athlete that also ran a 6.83 60-yard dash at the National Showcase. His downhill plane and clean arm action give him all the ingredients of a frontline starter.
