Rocker, the top-ranked player in the high school class of 2018 for over a year, looks the part of a high-end football recruit – which he would have been if not for baseball as the son of former NFL player and Outland Trophy winner, Tracy Rocker. Kumar Rocker’s arm action is silky smooth for the Vanderbilt commit, running his fastball steadily into the upper-90s while making it look as though he’s playing catch. If the fastball weren’t enough, Rocker also throws a pair of secondary pitches that draw empty swings in his power breaking ball and quality changeup.
