Wesley Rodriguez is a 2015 3B/SS/RHP with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends George Washington Carver HS. Large extra strong build. Two way prospect. Right handed hitter, open leg raise stance, front foot occasionally late getting down, long aggressive swing with very good bat speed, looking to pull and drive the ball and has the tools to do so, big power potential. 7.31 runner, outstanding infield arm, will have to work on agility at third base. Varies delivery all over the map including release point, big arm strength, fastball up to 93 mph, hides ball and has deception and ball gets on hitters quickly. Sharp breaking curveball with hard 11/5 biting action, swing miss pitch out of the zone, some developing quality to change up. Lots of big tools, key to development will be getting his body conditioned and under control.
