This is the 8th Annual WWBA Freshman World Championship, which will now be held at MLB Spring Training Complexes, and various ballparks in Lee & Sarasota County, Florida

- 84 Teams
- 21 Pools of 4
- Teams will play 3 pool play games between Thursday, October 8th - Saturday, October 10th.
- 21 pool winners and 11 wild cards will advance to a 32-Team Single Elimination Bracket.
 - Pool winners will be seeded 1-21.
 - Wild cards will be seeded 22-32.
 - Round of 32, 16 and Quarterfinals will be played on Sunday, October 11th.
 - Semifinals & Championship will be played on Monday, October 12th.
- Teams that DO NOT advance to bracket play will be scheduled a consolation game on Sunday, October 11th.
