Chase Johnson-Mullins
LHP - 2012 - Paris, KY
Uncommitted
Johnson-Mullins hasn't thrown competitively in two years due to arm surgery and not being enrolled in school but he certainly has arm strength and potential in his XXL 6-8/270 build. He pitched comfortably at 91-93 mph his first inning with a upper 70's slurve that flashed sharpness before tiring a bit and settling into the upper 80's in his second frame.
Edgar Lebron
OF - 2012 - Richmond Hill, NY
Lindsey Wilson College/Indian Hills CC
The powerfully built 6-0/205 LeBron is a 20 year old from New York City who has been playing at Indian Hills CC in Iowa. He has very high level athletic tools, with 6.4 speed in the sixty, an easy plus arm front the outfield and lots of raw bat speed.
Angel Merced
C - 2012 - Guaynabo, PR
Bacone College/Kirkwood CC
Merced is a 19 year old from Puerto Rico who plays at Kirkwood CC and has lots of high level raw tools. He's a switch hitter with a longer more power oriented swing from the left side and a shorter, strong line drive swing from the right side. He has a cannon behind the plate and even threw an inning, topping out at 92 mph.
Mitch Keller
RHP - 2014 - Cedar Rapids, IA
North Carolina
Keller has seen his stock rise dramatically this spring on the basis of his new fastball velocity and he showed it Sunday, topping out at 95 mph with an easy release. He also flashed plus spin and depth on his curveball once he got comfortable with his release point. Scout talk has him as a potential second round pick.
Keaton McKinney
RHP - 2014 - Ankeny, IA
Arkansas
McKinney put together a very businesslike and polished outing for the scouts, throwing 38 pitches in 3 innings and never wavering off his 90-92/T93 mph fastball, spotting it to both sides of the plate. His plus change up got him numerous outs and he developed better feel for his 72-75 mph curveball the more he threw it.
Tristan Rojas
OF - 2014 - Bronx, NY
Grayson County College
Rojas is a dynamic tightly wound athlete with top of the scale raw power and 6.46 speed in the sixty. He hit a couple of absolute bombs to left centerfield in batting practice. He worked in the infield at this event but is likely an outfielder at the next level.
Zachary Pop
RHP - 2014 - Brampton, ON CAN
Kentucky
Pop was impressive with a calm, low effort delivery and arm action that produced a fastball in the 90-93 mph range that he spotted to both sides of the plate. He tends to lower his arm slot on his slider and will have to make adjustments with this pitch but he has a very good arm with projection.
Jake Westphal
RHP - 2014 - Sioux City, IA
Tennessee
This was the best that Westphal has ever thrown at any of his numerous PG events over the years. His delivery seemed calmer with better tempo and he pounded the strike zone for two innings with a 90-93 mph fastball that simply overpower hitters. The Tennessee signee showed a solid mid-70's curveball for strikes as well.
Keith Grieshaber
SS - 2014 - Chesterfield, MO
Arkansas
Greishaber has plenty of projection in his 6-2/185 build but lots of present tools as well. He showed his power in batting practice, ran a 6.6 sixty and has left side arm strength in the infield.
Parker Sniatynski
OF - 2014 - Brookfield, WI
St. Louis
The Wisconsin-Milwaukee program got a steal in the highly projectable 6-3/180 local product. Sniatynski runs a 6.6, has a plus outfield arm and has a nice swing with some present pop and more to come.
Patrick Mathis
OF - 2014 - Venus, TX
Texas
Mathis will be headed to the University of Texas where his speed and strength combo should have an immediate impact. He has plus strength in his left handed swing and hit a inside the park home run to highlight his speed.
Anthony Schneider
SS - 2014 - Altoona, IA
South Dakota State
Perfect Game Prediction: Schneider will be a force at South Dakota State for the next 3-4 years and be one of the highest draft picks ever out of the South Dakota collegiate ranks. He can flat hit and is a pretty good athlete as well.
Andy De Jesus
SS - Free Agents - Santo Domingo, DOM DOM
Indiana State/Iowa Central CC
DeJesus is going to be a very good player at the fast rising Indiana State program the next two years. He's a switch-hitter with a polished high average approach from both sides and an outstanding defensive middle infielder with 6.65 speed.
